Derby Day in Manchester

They say never say never! As I always said I'd never write about City in my blog, just because I don't think they BIG enough. Well it doesn't get any bigger than this. . Manchester United has never seen such a derby, there I said never again, yes United old Boy Denis Law back heeled them to religation in 1974 but then it was inconsequential thanks to results elsewhere. . This encounter is far from inconsequential, with United's draw against Everton, City are now only three points adrift and with a better goal difference than their illustriously red neighbours. Sir Alex even said that leaves the initiative with the blue side of Manchester, because should they win their remaining three fixtures they will be crowned champions 44 years after their first league title. Talking about 44 years Sir Alex has been involved in 44 derby's at the helm and when asked at the post match conference after the Everton match, if this is more important than any of those before, h

El Clasico Preview

So in Europe both spanish giants tasted defeat, both could still salvage their ties & probably will but it does set El Clasico up nicely, as if it needs anymore spice. Barcelona have cut Real Madrid's 10 point lead to just 4 in just one month one more defeat and Real could see their rivals 1 adrift with four to play. It would be an understatement to say this is crucial in the La Liga title race. Barca at home would be favourites but in sport nothing is that simple, even for this Barcelona side. Pep knows nothing short of a win would suffice, Jose knows this and though underdogs Madrid do have a squad that can go and get a favourable result at the Camp Nou. Christiano Ronaldo's 41st goal of the season (and 53rd overall) last weekend saw the Portugal forward surpass his record mark of 40 goals set last season and Lionel Mess

How the English Premier League title will be won by MANCHESTER UNITED.

1. They will hold their nerve when their rivals will falter United began Monday night’s game with 33 title winners’ medals sprinkled throughout their starting line-up and that know-how showed as the game developed into a tense, edgy battle of wills. When the clock ticks past the hour mark at this stage of the season and there is no sign of a breakthrough, less experienced teams began to panic and leave gaps at the back as they strain forward in search of a goal. Panic sets in. United? They just know how to grind away at the opposition and push and push until the goal comes. 2. Even the biggest names will put the team first There is no place for egos when teams are going for a title and if a sa crifice must be made for the greater good, then so be it. Against Blackburn, for example, Wayne Rooney was asked to play a deeper role and was deployed on the left flank by Sir Alex Ferguson in order to provide an outlet for United’s three-man midfield. In truth, the tactic seemed to blunt
